If you perm your hair you have to wait at least two weeks before you color it. I have never heard of coloring your hair and then perming it, that just doesn`t make any sense to me.
I was just told by my stylist that if you are going to do a perm and a color that you have to do the color first and then the perm. I am confused. I thought it was the other way around. I don`t know what to think. I also heard that if you do both you risk damaging hair. There also seems to be some confusion about how long to wait in between a perm and a color treatment. Any suggestions about this would help so much.
