Eeeek my hair was cut =[ (pic heavy)

Well, I started growing my hair out since december, I finally got it to a good length where I could achieve this look (the guy on the left):


It finally finally got past that actually. So I went to get my hair cut like his and brought the picture to show my regular amazing hair stylist. My grandmother took me, she goty me a gift certificate to the salon I usually go to. He was done cutting my hair and it already looked amazing, he just needed to flat iron/style it. My grandmother comes over and she didn't like it, I think partially she was just upset because her ex husband died the previous day, but she stil;l wanted to take me, and so she told him to cut my bangs and the back. He tried to keep it like a miniature version of it, and keep it so it would grow out in the way of the picture, but it just looks really bad on me, and I feel really uncomfortable with short hair =/ This is what I looked like before I got it cut:

I guess what I am trying to get at is, I really cannot stand it, I don't like my hair this short I just feel naked. How long will it take to grow back?? Is there anything I can do in the meantime?? I'm really stressing out about it =/ What do you all think? Thanks a lot, I hope you don't mind all of the pictures =/

Hey Chris, I think your new cut looks okay, and it is not that much shorter than before. It will grow back quickly - just try not to focus too much on it. I like that style on that guy in your photo and it will look good on you! Just don't start smoking!
