pixie to bob...advice?

i had the CUTEST pixie-esque cut for quite some time. I messed with it and made it my own<3

I've recently gotten bored and decided i want to grow it out to maybe about a bob length so i can get kind of a shaggy bedhead styles -- much less time involved in styling.

my problem? I can't find anything to do with it while it's growing out to that length to make it look good. The back's getting a bit unmanageable and long. it's been in a polka-dot head wrap for about a week straight and that's getting lame...


so any advice?

I'm doing the same thing - growing my hair out from a pixie to a bob.  It's hard to get through those awkward stages.  I'm assuming it's the neck area that's bothering you the most?  Try having that trimmed just a tiny bit so it's more blunt.  You're going to have to let your layers catch up, anyway.  I use a volumizer and blow my hair out full and smooth on top, then tuck the sides behind my ears and try not to look at the back too much.  ;-)
