What do you add to hair color to make it more blue

I haven't tried this, so if someone who has answers, listen to them!  If your hair is already dyed blue black, you may try something like manic panic or a dye that is royal blue in color over it.  It will leave your hair black, but you might see more of the blue when you're in the sunlight or reflected in flashes.

I have blue / black hair and I have seen people with more blue than black. How do you achieve that and what do you use? I tried the Clairol Compliments blue but it did nothing. Is there something you can buy to put in your hair color to make it more blue? I do not want a sky blue I just want more blue in the hair color? If you have any suggestions please let me know. And I personally Thank You for any help you can give me. Brit
