Yep...that's what I used to do! But now i'm experimenting and mixing cc with motions...so far, so good (good moisture and wave definition).

Try walmart. It's really not a special type of product. Just go into any store that sells products for hair. Look for Hollywood Beauty Carrot Creme.

Honestly it may be overlooked but the best thing to use to get waves is water. Your water + ^^ + brushing hardcore = waves galore

no products give you waves...the just improve the look of them. But i'd recommend mixing cc with motions

If i ever saw any one with waves better than mine i'd run up on em with a can of dax that was put in the freezer for 5 minutes (EXTRA thick), put a big glob in my hand and slap it to their hair wtg. lol

That's true. And even if they come a little close to having better waves, they still don't have the depth that I have or all sides waved up.
 
Besides if they did I'd run up on them with my brush and smack em'
in the head ATG.

Nice...my favorite as of now is "The Fade" brush i got from Sallys a while ago (the soft side)

Oh and also, I decided against re-training my right side. I get compliments
from women all the time about how nice or pretty they think my hair is. So
bump that. Besides, I'm still killin' with my waves going in a different
direction.

Boar Bristles are good. The funny thing about the brushes though is this cheap con-air brush I got from Walgreen's has boar bristles and it's better quality than my Diane and Annie.
