QuoteReplyTopic: REAL RACIAL SH!T !!!!! Posted: July 04 2007 at 11:34pm
This was ORIGINALLY posted by Frizzle but i had to bring it over here due to its message(hope he's not mad at this) i like thee message portrayed in this video
WARNING: there are some explicit content in it so if ur timid or just a youngin', u betta consent wit mammy and pappy before watchin it or just don't get caught. Don't worry tho, it aint a lot of sex or nothin, but da images are kinda disturbing.
I found this on another message board. Don't know how old it is but the message of the song and the content is very powerful.
I'm waiting for it to load. I'll be back with feedback real quick. -EDIT- I have no comment other than that someones going to have to explain to me what this is supposed to make me feel. Whats so real about it? And for the record, no, Malcolm X didn't die for us like MLK Jr. did. He wasn't killed by the "white man". He was shot by members of the Nation Of Islam because he was beefing with Elijah Mohamed. So I guess his legacy continues today with our people dying the same way.

Nobody knows for sure what really went down. But i'd like to think if Malcolm X PBUH was alive today who would that benefit, us or them? Most certainly us, being black folks I hope.
But by him being dead that just took away a leader from us. Yes there are leaders out there but we can all agree they are no Malcolm X's.
Which brings me to say this, There was a good documentary on HBO about the gangs in LA showing how the cia and fbi infiltrated various black organizations like the Black Panthers by using snitches other evil well thought out tactics to slowly bring them down.
And I would say it worked because where are they know.
Being a product of Oakland, Ca where the Black Panthers originated, Ironically was the first place crack cocaine was introduced, Specifically to dismantle the Black Panther party and was ultimately the cuase of the down fall of the party and years later caused the death of the Black panther party co-founder Huey P. Newton, PBUH because he owed a drug dealer some money, So he shot him.
Yeah, some brothas killed Malcom but brothas been killin brothas since the days we was in Africa.
Africans had African slaves. That how most of us got here. We where traded and sold by fellow Africans.....................................................
Real talk, You might not be welcomed in some parts of africa. Might get killed. Its going down in Sudan as we speak.
I was feeling that link, thanks for sharing it with us.

I wasn't trying to say that Malcolm set some precedent for black on black crime but that dudes act like this is something that was never happening before we came here. Brother fights brother and sister fights sister. Thats life. We as human beings are flawed in this. Ant you a real soulful dude. I've got more to say on this topic but I'm too tired to write essay length responses right now.

I agree. I hate talkin about shlt like this, because at the end of the day aint shlt gone change.
But on a different note " god will never change a people untill they change whats in their own hearts".
We have to be the ones to make the change. Especially that we know thing are phucked up. I believe that what the message was in the video and the artist was just trying to set fire under the feet the other rappers because people actually listen to what young joc and jim jones got to say.
We need more Krs-ones, Mos Defs, Askari X's, and Public Enemies in the rap game.

Oh I see it now. And I agree. I took my nephew to see Evan Almighty last week on Sunday. Morgan Freeman said something along the lines of God won't give you what you ask but he will give you the opportunity to attain what you ask for.

^^ True Story, one of my elder co-workers had the nerve to ask me if I see *color* (white woman) and I said yea. She looked at me with those eyes that scream your a racist and then she said, she doesn't see color. I laughed for a second then said, if you dont see color then your color blind. I told her I see color I just don't treat anyone differently unless they piss me off.

Don't trip about postin it on here Gyvll. Glad u did. I was sure that this was gonna get deleted or moved because it was not "hair" related and it might of been a bit too "harsh" for some other members. Glad it affected enuff to wanna post it yourself.
Glad to see how some people are reacting tho. I thought most would ignore the song's message and just focus on being offended by it's content because they are "fans" of some of the music that this rapper brutally criticizes throughout the song. I know that there is a lot of young peeps on this board so i didn't think they'd be all too jazzed about it. Glad to see tho how most of y'all are reacting tho.
My thoughts about it? mixed feelings. I appreciated the message the rapper was tryin to get across. However, i felt it was a bit rough in it's presentation. There could've been a more peaceful approach BUT i don't even think people would actually give it the same attention without the shock value.

naw fam not all teachers are like that
i had a teacher last year
mr. bloom
had him for unified geometry and my c++ and internet programming classes (a few other languages with him)
and he was the best teacher ive ever had
HE would push you to the limit, try to get the best out of you and make you have the best benefit from his classes
even though u would dislike being in his class sometimes he can teach
was the best teacher ive ever had
if u needed something he would help u with it
cause i remember my midterm i needed major help on my math
and he stayed after school with me for 4 hours helpin me learn what was really goin on
and ever since ive gotten out of his class ive understood math better then i ever had as for computer classes
he doesnt let u slack he wants 100% effort from u and pushes you till u do it, but no not all teachers are like that
there are some teachers like that
imma try to have him some more next year if hes still here

Its good to see brothas steppin up bout this stuff. I dont think Hip Hop will ever be as good as it was though, too many dumb n****s have brainwashed our communities. we havent had any influentual black leaders like malcolm and Maritin and we can all tell our people are suffering from it.
