Being a curly girl - I have tried EVERYTHING on the market over the years. I have found the ways to keep my hair curly and frizz free are as follows: - 1. I wash my hair with Redken ALLSOFT range - not cheap but lasts for ages (the results are worth the money, and it makes you feel good) 2. I use a wide tooth comb to separate hair B4 shampoo and then I run my hands through only when drying. 3. Use John Frieda - Frizz Ease Corrective Mouse - no alcohol in this and it keeps the curl really well. 4. Use a small amount of silicone serum on the ends (I use Redken Glass or John Frieda Frizz Ease serum) and then dry using a diffuser - make sure your head is upside down and do not touch it too much.( be patient, do not try to dry too quickly, the hair will go `crunchy`) When nearly dry, turn head up and scrunch into head softly and let it cool down - voila! Anyway, this is what I do every few days and it works for me - after years of bad hair days, I finally seem to be getting it right. If anyone has got any tips and ideas they use, I am listening.
Use that frizz stuff that gets rid of frizz. It works. I also have a way that you can wear your hair. Take 5 very small clips. Pull the sides up with them. Then take the other three and pull your bangs back (if your bangs are long) and put the three clips on. This should keep the bands out of your eyes and plus it looks cute.
I know these weren`t the best directions. Hopefully you`ll know what I mean.
