I would suggest that you wash, apply pink oil and focus brush. Focus brushing is brushing in one spot a set number of strokes. I do 25 strokes in each spot and go around the head twice. Don't use any pomades if you don't have any waves. Wait until you start to make some progress and then start using it. I only use blue magic because it makes my hair curl up.
