Thats exactly how I feel. I was gonna start usin a softy 2day after my cut. but I had an incident. My right side was finally coming in. I knew if I got my hair cut 2 low it would disappear so I told my barber I wanted a #2 cut( I usually get a low cut check my old threads) and he cut it da same way he usually cut itAngry. So now I have 2 start my right side all over againCry. I'm so F*ckin Pissed right now. I'll use a medium my first week then after that I'll start usin a hard brush. I'm not even gon attempt 2 use a softy now. Has this ever happened 2 anybody else?

My last barber cut my waves out around the end on '05.  It set me back several weeks, but I recovered and switched barbers.

some people like me who have VERY fine hair only use softies and occasionally meds(to speed up the wave process).
but when my hair wuz high and i found out bout this site, i used a hard IN and OUT the shower. with that said it only took me only 2-3 weeks to get waves.

now, after using motions con., CC, and probably genetics....i have a very fine and soft texture.....and only use softy and rarely med
still holdin' b-boy crown @ school

Depending on your hair texture, a soft brush is, for the most part, most effective when your hair is below a 1 and a half guard.

As you can see, I mentioned hair texture as a factor in my post.
