dyed black hair back to dark brown?

I dyed my hair about 2 hours ago, dyed it from natural dark brown to black (for the first time). And I hate it. I've been reading on different sites thats its very difficult to get the black out, but is it hard to go back to dark brown from black? all the forum posts have asked about going from natural black to light brown or dyed black to light brown/blonde, so i dont know if going back to dark brown is as hard or not. and how soon can i dye it again? i want to do it asap because i cant stand it, and i dont dye my hair often so its not damaged from that. any help would be great!

thanks for the reply! so i need to bleach it lighter, trying to dye it dark brown wont actually work?

thanks to the replies! i went to the salon and they "lifted" the black out and then dyed it back to brown, looks great:)
