This topic may have come up other places, but I don`t remember reading about it. What does everyone think of doing the CO wash? Does this really work well? From what I`ve read surfactants in the conditioner actually clean the hair. Is that true? I`m interested in trying this since I`m growing my hair out. Anything that will help keep it healthy sounds good to me. I just wanted to get some opinions on this method.

Thanks.
Becky

Hi Becky I just use conditioner on my hair and it does wonders. I just started doing this about a month ago and it has really helped the texture and also the shine. I hope this helps.

I love the conditioner only. I have curly hair and it has cut down on the frizz and the dryness. You should see if a bookstore has the book Curly Girl by Lorraine Massey. It explains it. Or check out this site http://www.angelfire.com/empire/long_hair_community/LJ.html I don`t use as much condtioner as she recommends, but my hair is different than hers.

What exactly is a condition only wash- not sure what you mean...like you take a shower and don`t use shampoo- just apply conditioner and rinse?

Where you just wash your scalp with shampoo and then you rinse. Then you do the conditioner only wash on your length only. What I do is put all my hair in one side and wash my scalp and while thats done I rinse it while my hair is still on the side by my face, and then I lather condtioner on my my entire length, except my scalp. and I put it all in the back again and run more drop of conditioner and leave on for five minutes and rinse for a minute to make sure it`s all out. This has really helped my hair. Sorry about this being kind of long.

Read what`s in the link provided by SnowWhite. I`ve been following her instructions exactly and it`s been working wonderfully.
