ooo now i get it!Lamp has come on
and i am a weavestylist..so i add synthetic hair to my braids some times..i just still didnt get how that tied in to this tehnique..i think i get it now..WOW..super intersesting..

Thanks for posting the government patent site!!!
It sounded to me (as explained in their patent) they pick up a few strands and criss cross them in with  some type of synthetic for the start of the track. Then on subsequent criss cross pick ups they also add in some hair from the previous pick up link. Does this make sense?

Yes, that makes perfect sense.  I think that is exactly what they do.
