QuoteReplyTopic: When do I tone specific strands of hair? Posted: June 07 2008 at 7:04pm
OK, I need some help getting the timeline right in my head:
First, I apply bleach to dry hair
then wash it out after 40 minutes
but then how do I find the strands to tone them? should I let my hair dry, and then pick out the bleached strands in order to apply the toner mixture?
Really wishing I could just tone my whole head - that would sure be easier!

Clarification - if I were to do home highlights, how do I tone specific highlights, as opposed to toning the entire head?
