At Sally the ones with #T are (toners) but Maybe KS meant tone=color & that is the list for the permanent colors. :)

I would go more for the hi lift with an ash, as fakeizme has pointed out toner will not do much, if you have previous colour, you will have some brassiness, so apply the colour after bleaching,need to get to a level 8 then apply the hi lift. If you go for the hi lift, make sure it has an ash tone, this will cancel out any brassy tones.

Hi Muppet's, as you are going to be depositing colour the ash blonde will deposit the same colour to your bangs, as it does to the rest of your hair, once you have bleached it. As your hair is virgin ( apart from your bangs, lol) when bleaching you can use 30 vol, this will be enough to lift the brown from your hair. I don't think you will need a hi lift, as you have virgin hair, it really depends on what level after bleaching your hair is.

Hi muppet, if you feel the ash colour turns silver or blueish in tone a simple bleach shampoo will sort that, mix a little blue bleach with shampoo.

OK, I didn't put any of the clairol powder bleach in my shampoo.

I shampooed and conditioned with my regular products today, and in the clear light of day, my hair looks better.... there is a slight gray tinge still, but it's not as bad as I thought.  I may post pictures later.

In the meantime, I can't help but comment that it's curious that I tried to dye my hair several times using Wella color from Sally Beauty, but it never took.  When I dyed my blond part last night with the regular ol' boxed dye from the grocery store, that's when it took.

Opps are you just meaning your bangs, lol
