My husband loves ladies hair, especially long hair. His enjoyment and lust of hair was kept a secret until recently when I suggested he admit his love for hair. Well, his coming out of the closet has made me jealous. My hair is shoulder length and he is always complimenting me. He is a great husband. BUT, I have a couple of long haired friends and now my husband is openly complimenting their hair. One of those frends was hanging out at our pool. After swimming, she and I laid out for a little sun. She had to leave, so she went inside the house to blow dry her hair and put it up. She took a long time, so I went inside and found my husband brushing my friends waist length hair. After she fixed her hair into a huge bun, my husband applied the hairspray to hold it in place. I was so mad. But when they realized I was watching them, my friend simply laughed and said my husband was such a nut (meaning he was funny) and good with hair too. So what should I do? I started all of this by telling him to admit to his hair fetish. Oh, and one other thing. He is so open he actually asks my friends can he touch their hair and then he sniffs it and tells them their hair smells good. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?Dear Susan,Have you told your husband that his behavior bothers you? If you want him to stop doing things that hurt you, you have to honest with him about your feelings, otherwise he will not know that what he is doing is affecting you this way. I suggest you talk to him right away. Tell him what you said in your message, but include how it makes you feel. Maybe this seems difficult, but sometimes you have to confront an issue no matter how hard it is to do so, in order to protect yourself and keep a problem from spiraling into a huge issue. He may have a long hair fetish, but there is no reason why he would not have the ability to stop asking your friends to touch their hair, and if he claims that he can't stop himself, well, then it is up to you what you do from there.Hope this helps!Lisa :-)

Tricky. If he was repressing his 'fetish,' it may have partly been in consideration of you in not wanting to hurt your feelings. If you encouraged him to open up, and he has, he may now be feeling tremendous freedom and relief, and it may have even strengthened his bond with you knowing that you're okay with it. (He may also still be very sensitive, bordering on guilt.)If you were to turn around and now say that it is a threat to you, it could seriously hurt him, and it might even have minor, but still adverse, consequences to your relationship. You can't encourage him and then immediately discourage him without there being some damage done.Perhaps if you approached him in the manner of wanting to understand the various aspects of his particular fetish and how the two of you could participate together in those explorations, that might be a more constructive initial approach towards addressing your concerns.Have you considered growing your own hair longer?I don't want to get too personal, but is there some way that the two of you could incorporate your friends' long hair into your own play? These are just my own thoughts and perceptions.Good luck to you both!

Susan,While it is healthy for your husband to feel comfortable discussing his love of long hair, I think brushing and spraying your friend's hair was inappropriate on both their parts. That would have made me angry too. You could tell him to enjoy his new found freedom - to a point!

He's yourhusband and the guy's been honest with you. It's not like he's attempting to negate his fetish. I'd inuldge him. Guys like to be pampered, trust me. It is far better that he's playing with their hair than with other parts. Maybe you should grow your hair out and ask him to assist, shampooing, conditioning, brushing, etc. My guess is he'd enjoy yours just as much as the others' if it is as thick and as long. you're co> My husband loves ladies hair, especially long hair.> His enjoyment and lust of hair was kept a secret until> recently when I suggested he admit his love for hair.> Well, his coming out of the closet has made me> jealous. >If that was my husband I would buy a noseplug , handcuffs, whip and a leash . Okay I was trying to cheer you up.Basically Susan beware of that girlfriend of yours. There is no reason for her to let your husband play with her hair. If that happen to me I wouldn't have talked to both of them. Some people say there is nothing wrong with someone playing with someone else hair. Well maybe sometimes it can be nothing and other times it lends to sex. Some people have fantasies which involved brushing long hair. Beware Susan.I am very sorry that they choose to hurt your feelings. Very very selfish on both of their parts.
