I am new here, but I could not resist this thread.
My natural color
Undefinable, it all depends on lighting and air. Currently my color is ... red?... but it changes to a dirty brown or a very light blonde under the right circumstances. Once my sister told me that (in the ligt of quicksilver lamps) my hair looked a very dark grey.
Previous colors
I never color my hair, but I started out light blonde as a small child, then I darkened to a rich copper-red as I was 16, and now (25) it seems to get lighter again. At least, it reacts more to external events such as humidity and lighting. The other explanation could be that I did not notice before.
Dyeing
I do not use colors with the exception of silver or grey spray-on color for LARP where I play an old lady of 80 years. And I was very nervous the first time I used this stuff. Currently my little sister uses the named grey spray for a "nifty" highlight on her chin-length bangs. One cannot argue about taste.
I would never change my hair color permanently. Pity is that the only spay-on color available in Germany is in signal colors (red, yellow, blue, silver, glitter...). I would love to experient with hair-graffity.
Greetings,
Thea

It ranges from dark to light golden brown, intermixed throughout on its own from the sun and age. A few greys are popping up here and there, the longest are about 6" long now.
Has it ever been any other color?
When I was a competitive swimmer, it was significantly lighter than it is now. For 12 years I didn't know what my natural color was. It was a light golden brown with golden blond highlights.
If you could change your color, what would you change it too?
Natural color: golden honey brown, like the color of clover honey. Unnatural color: Vibrant Electric Purple, with bright lime green and royal blue stripes (imagine that on thigh-length hair!).
But, I'm never going to do either of those.. My hair is healthiest in its natural state, and I've worked far too hard to get it this healthy. I have more fun watching others do wacky stuff with their hair.
