Hello all:

I am trying to stay away from taking any of the 'hair' vitamins that are out there (Except for 2000mcg of Biotin).. because I am afraid of other side effects such as kidney stones and so forth (and besides i HATE taking pill!! HOW do you people do it??!!).. and overdosing on something and it's really not worth the risk for me. I currently take one centrum multi-vitamin/day along w/ Biotin for now and am trying to eat healthy.. I added the following foods each day (IN addition to lunch and dinner..which I eat only home made NO Junk food..) :

- Drink a cup of Soy milk - Soy
- One boiled egg - Protein
- Eat yogurt
- Drink a cup of skim milk w/ Start Smart Cereal (Love this stuff)- calcium and all other 'good' stuff.

I am also trying to eat more veggies and fruits.. is there anything else I should include in my diet for faster hair growth? I also am trying to wash my hair only twice a week instead of every other day. So far so good :) I'm going to stay FAAAAR away frm hair stylists for now..(for about 6 months 'til AUGUST!!). Any other 'natural' tips to help enhance the growth?

Thanks so much!

I'm also trying to grow my hair naturally. I agree with the things you are adding to your diet. I also eat some mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, etc) for extra protein. But, I don't take biotin, just a multivitamin.
