No cutting. No dyeing. No perming. Maybe curling.
No dreads. Nothing really radical. No highlighting.
These are the rules my father enforces.
My hair is two inches below my bra line, straight, dark blond. I wear it in a bun, half-ponytail, ponytail, half-braided pony combined with a second ponytail, 2 braids, 2 small pigtails in back.
It`s spring break and I wanna go back with a different look. Nothing real extreme. Just something noticable. Any ideas? Ihave a little over a week to decide so pile up the suggestions.

without cutting, dyeing, perming, curling and nothing radical what do you expect to do?

Hey you said it right in the post title -- too many restrictions. I`d love to help you out but you don`t really have many options. Why is your father so strict with your hair & what happens if you do one of those things? I don`t know how old you are but at a certain age, a girl/woman should have the right to wear her hair the way she wants, & not how daddy tells her. (Or anyone else for that matter.) Sounds like your hair is quite long & you already seem to wear the standard styles. The question you need to ask yourself is, if you could do whatever you wanted to your hair, & your father didn`t have all those rules, what would you most want to do. I`m not suggesting you do that, just think about it & it may help you figure something out. Since you have a little time I`ll try to think of something, & get back to you, but you should think about what I said, & if a big change is something you really fancy perhaps you should sit down with your father & talk about it with him. Find out his reasons for these rules, & see if you could negotiate some kind of deal with him.

BRAIDINGIT AT NIGHT, THEN TAKING OUT THE BRAIDS INT EH MORNING WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR CRIMPY-ISH.. THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT WITH LONG HAIR, ALSO ASK YOUR DAD IF YOU COULD TEMPORARLY DYE IT LIKE HOT HEADS COMB IN ETC.. MAYBE HE`LL AGREE? GOOD LUCK!

I think you need to have a talk with your father. he sounds like a very mean person. I hate people who beleive that they can control their children because it says something similiar in the law. It`s wrong and borders on child abuse.

That is really mean to put all those restrictions on you! But maybe you could get it braided into lots and lots of little braids. i think that fits w/ the restrictions, they`re different, and they can look really good of you get them done by a professional. thats really all i can think of! HIH
