I was wondering if that technique could help me. I'm african american with relaxed hair with graduated layers on the sides and slightly past my shoulders in the back. I get that pyramid look especially as I get closer to my next scheduled touchup and my roots become curly(every 6 or 7 weeks). I went to one stylist who said that my hair falls this way because of how it grows and no amount of cutting or different hairstyles will change it. Please help!> RenitaTo Renita;I am very sorry to say that I have zero experience with african american hair. (not by choice but by circumstance).I would like to do some afro hair but my customers are all long haired caucausan mostly. I find that some black hair styles particularly short relaxed ones are very becoming on the right person. I think that undercut layers would still help you if your hair is relaxed very very straight.Sorry I couldn't be any more help.william -------------
